As an independent insurance broker for construction and real estate, AIC specialises in complex planning, valuation, construction and property risks in the DACH region as well as on large international projects.

Since 1998, insurance specialists, technical underwriters, civil engineers, multilingual contract experts and experienced legal professionals have served our clients’ interests from eight locations (Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Munich, Pressath, Zurich, Basel and Frauenfeld). Further offices (e.g. in Vienna in 2027) are planned.

To meet requirements beyond national borders, AIC Global Solutions GmbH was founded in 2008 as a competent extension of our services. To continue internationalisation, AIC Swiss AG was established in Zurich in February 2020. In January 2024 we opened a further location in Frauenfeld (canton of Thurgau). A further location in Basel followed in 2026.

State-of-the-art technology and in-house software and product development enable short processing times alongside sustainable, transparent insurance solutions. Customer service is central to AIC. With bauteq® and AIC-Online, we developed the first digital platform for covering complex construction and real estate projects as well as for portfolio holders and property managers across the DACH region.

Our extensive experience in insuring architects, engineers, project controllers, developers and owners, in supporting individual construction projects and in managing insurance for real estate portfolios for owners and property managers allows us to give clients the security they need for their risks and investments.

On construction projects we advise owners, municipalities, developers or operators from the early planning phase and assess risks with our experts. We prepare insurance cost forecasts and develop appropriate cover in parallel.
