You will strengthen our claims and legal department as soon as possible, on a permanent full-time basis, preferably at our Berlin-Mitte or Cologne offices, or alternatively nationwide from a home office.

If you do not yet have prior knowledge of insurance law and/or construction and architects’ law, we will provide comprehensive onboarding and help you build the necessary expertise.

What awaits you in your new role

  • You become part of a seven-strong team of lawyers who enjoy working together across disciplines.
  • You will tackle demanding questions in insurance and liability law.
  • You handle liability claims and represent our clients’ interests as effectively as possible vis-à-vis insurers.
  • You translate awkwardly worded policy terms or insurer correspondence into clear language so clients can focus on their own fields.
  • You review works contracts from the client side and protect our clients from hidden liability risks and insurance gaps.
  • You support management and specialist departments on all legal matters.

You bring:

  • Two state law examinations
  • A genuine interest in close teamwork
  • Strong communication skills, a service mindset and drive
  • Very good German; further languages would be an asset
  • Confident use of common MS Office applications
