Construction performance insurance comprehensively protects your construction project within the AIC solution throughout the entire build period. It covers unforeseen damage to the structure that arises during execution – regardless of whether it is caused by weather, construction defects or external influences.

As a building owner, such damage carries significant risk: harm to the shell structure can considerably delay progress, create additional coordination effort and noticeably strain overall financing through unplanned extra costs. Without appropriate insurance cover, you may bear these risks yourself. Construction performance insurance provides the necessary security and ensures that your project remains economically stable and predictable even in the event of a claim.

Our insurance solution protects your construction project comprehensively – including against:

  • damage from extreme weather (e.g. storms, heavy rain, flooding or frost)
  • consequences of material or construction defects (e.g. missing waterproofing or damaged pipes)
  • carelessness, negligence or mishaps by everyone involved in the build
  • wilful damage and vandalism by third parties
  • theft of permanently installed components (e.g. cables or radiators)

Expandable add-on modules:

  • cover for existing building fabric (existing buildings)
